After writing 160 pages, author John C. McComb, literally ran out of literary fuel. "I reached the point in the story where the Christ enters the stage; and I realized that I didn't really know Jesus - or understand who he was. I stopped for over 10 years until I had a personal, spiritual experience that brought him to reality in my life.

"After that," the author explains, "I realized that this was a spiritual story and must be told in a spiritual sense through spiritual inspiration. I asked for help from the Holy Spirit, from Jesus and from John himself.

"The book began to move again. I opened myself to prayer and meditation as I went up into the silence of the forests of Mount Shasta. In the silence of the mountain, I heard the words begin. A loving voice spoke into my Mind; and I dictated the words that came through from that still, small Source. I kept the text of the Gospel According to John on my lap and was inpired when to use those words directly as the tale unraveled.

"Each day, as I returned from the Mountain, I went to my computer and transcribed the words as they flowed through me. I have been very careful to edit only as inspired to do so."
